Hello ! I have just set up a small business concern,providing OSH talks or briefings and preparation of seminar papers.Also preparation of OSH manuals or OSH training modules customised to your needs .
Previous blogs carried the name or title TOKWI,which is my nickname.From now on my blog will start off with MITOS as title of subject.( MITOS is a mall business concern regisrered with SSM,acronyms for " management interalia training occupational safety " )

Following the publication of my book " Occupational Safety And Health Management " published by Universiti Sains Malaysia,I am now going into OSH business !! I have set up a small business outfit named MITOS.It is registered with SSM Malaysia.MITOS= management interalia training occupational safety.My business is giving talks,briefing and participation in seminars.I also provide services in preparation of OSH Manuals and preparation of  OSH training modules and manuals.

Query on 5s and the relationship to OSHA

5S is only a conceptual element consisting of 5 subjects and each subject in turn is made up of various topics and issues.Each subject however does not have  in-depth discussions of the constituent topics or issues,unless the particular subject is exclusively on OSHA 1994 .

IMPLEMENTATION OF OSHA 1994 ( MALAYSIAN LAW )

The implementation of OSH rules calls for the participation of every person at a place of work AND ALSO persons coming into the place of work although they are not employees at that place of work.This situation imposes certain duties on the employer towards employees AND non-employees.

OSHA FOR EVERYONE

Almost everyone has heard something about OSHA....most would have thought that it concerns safety and health of persons working in factories !Actually it is about persons working anywhere...schools.banks,hospitals.restaurants etc etc. Another important element in OSH is " welfare ". I have made a small attempt on OSH Management thru my book entitled " Occupational Safety And Health Management " published by USM, Pulau Pinang.

Buy one.go thru it and you'll find the approach is so much different from OSH books that you might have read !!!

Meanwhile can u recollect Matt Monroe's " Walk Away "......OSH is rather a dry subject,therefore a small diversion to the sixties might perhaps cheer u up a little.How about John Lennons " Jealous Guy "...Cheers
